TOOLS NEEDED BY REBUILDING TOGETHER BALTIMORE – DONATIONS OF TOOLS NOW BEING ACCEPTED AT SELECT ACE STORES
Two Baltimore-area Ace Hardware Stores Partner With Rebuilding Together Baltimore in Tool Drive now through April 1st.

Baltimore, MD. Rebuilding Together Baltimore (RTB) is a nonprofit organization that provides critical home repairs for low-income homeowners in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, serving seniors, people with disabilities and families with children. While RTB utilizes volunteers to provide many of its home repairs, most of the volunteers do not have their own tools. To help RTB build its supply of tools, Waverly ACE Hardware and Federal Hill ACE Hardware are partnering with Rebuilding Together Baltimore (RTB) in a tool drive running now through April 1. Anyone interested in helping should donate tools - new or used - at these two locations. Needed tools include hammers, screwdrivers, hand tools, power drills (regular, impact, hammer), hand grinders, miter saws, sanders, routers, air compressors, nail guns, table saws, electrical testing equipment, hepa vacuums, extension cords, and more.

“This tool drive will help build a much needed tool supply for us. When we are able to provide tools for our volunteers to use, we can help more homeowners stay warmer, safer and drier in their homes,” comments Bonnie Bessor, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together Baltimore. “We encourage everyone to donate new or gently used tools. Donors also will receive a letter acknowledging their tax-deductible gift. Stop into either of the ACE stores listed below and make your tool donation.”
